BANGOR – The Penobscot Jobs Corps Culinary Arts students will host a cooking demonstration from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Dunnett’s Inc. at Penobscot Plaza. Focus of the demonstration will be on garde-manger (the art of garniture), a main course entree and desserts. Students competing in this year’s Skills USA-VICA competition will create the dishes. Community members will be able to sample the fare. Admission is free.
