BANGOR – Dana Devoe of Orono has been named to the Strauss Corp. board of trustees. The Strauss Corp. is a subsidiary of St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation in Bangor. A retired lawyer, Devoe is a graduate of the University of Maine and received his law degree from Notre Dame Law School. Devoe practiced law in Bangor from 1959 to 2001.

Devoe served in the Maine House of Representatives in 1977-78 and in the Maine Senate in 1979-80. Before his retirement, he also served as a member and chairman of the Orono appeals board and on the Orono Town Council from 1992 to 1998.

Devoe lives in Orono with his wife, Mary Ann.
