Racewalkers from Maine garnered All-America nods and had a top finishes at meets this weekend, including Kevin Eastler’s fifth place Saturday at the 2003 Pan American Racewalk Cup.

Farmington’s Eastler walked a personal-best 1:25.34 in the 20-kilometer event to help the U.S. team take first in that race at Chula Vista, Calif.

Caribou High senior Dan Campbell won two All-America awards by taking fifth at the National Scholastic Indoor Track and Field Championships in New York Sunday and sixth at the Nike Indoor Track and Field Championships in Landover, Md., Saturday.

Mt. Blue of Farmington sophomore Carly Lochala was fourth at the Nike meet and 10th at the New York City competition. Troy Clark of Lisbon High, Dirigo of Dixfield’s Jasmine Brooks, and Winthrop’s Mark Dennett also earned All-America honors.
