PORTLAND – Laurel Drew of Thorndike captured the Gold Medal in the Class A bowling division at the Maine Senior Olympic Games in Portland, qualifying him for the National Senior Games in Norfolk, Va., in May.

He will head to Knoxville, Tenn., in April for the 100th American Bowling Congress National Tourney, in which he has appeared the last 22 years.
