Congratulations to the protectors of our border with Canada, the Border Patrol, the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the State Department. I commend them for keeping our nation safe from Michael Jalbert, who presented the United States with not only clear and present danger, but also with an imminent threat when he was apprehended at the gas station in Estcourt Station with a hunting shotgun in his possession. Heaven forbid, he could have killed an “American” partridge.

I also need to thank the U.S. Justice Department for doing the right and moral thing by making sure he never sets foot in this great nation ever again. You make us all proud to be Americans.
