Newburgh native and Winston Cup driver Ricky Craven, who won the Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 at Darlington Raceway (S.C.) last Sunday, will throw out the first pitch at Portland’s Hadlock Field on April 30 when the Portland Sea Dogs host the Reading Phillies at 6 p.m.

There will be a press conference featuring Craven and Sea Dogs manager Ron Johnson from 4:30-5 p.m. in the Portland Room at Hadlock. Craven will receive a Sea Dogs uniform with his name and car number (32) on it.
