Maine is not behind the times in restricting Sunday hunting. It is enlightened.

It gives the people of this state and their visitors a day to walk in the woods without the sound of gunfire, and it gives God’s creatures a day of rest from being slaughtered. Like our stand on the death penalty, it shows Maine at its best, a civilized and thoughtful state. Let’s keep it that way.
