Former Adirondack Lumberjacks player Eppie Guerrero was named the new batting coach for the Huntsville (Ala.) Stars, a Double A baseball team in the Milwaukee Brewers’ organization. The 36-year-old second baseman played 14 minor league seasons, and was expected to contend for a spot on Bangor’s 22-man roster this season after hitting .265 with 8 homers and 54 RBIs last year.
