CONCORD, N.H. – Fish and Game officials say the winter was so hard on the state’s deer herd they plan to propose a reduction in the number of some hunting days.
Kent Gustafson, a deer biologist, said the winter was particularly hard on deer in central and southern New Hampshire. He said officials want to reduce the number of days people can hunt both male and female deer in some parts of the state.
