BANGOR – On a daily basis, 17-year-old Tessa McCue can be found practicing her jumps and spins in Marlborough, Mass., where she now trains.

But this weekend will offer skating aficianados two opportunited to see McCue in action.

The Hampden native, who competes at the Junior Ladies Level in U.S. Figure Skating, will join an exhibition by the Penobscot Figure Skaters at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Sawyer Arena off Thirteenth Street in Bangor. More than 30 area skaters also will be featured.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.

On Saturday, March 29, McCue will join her coach, Barbara Kossowska, in giving a skating clinic 10 a.m.-noon at Sawyer Arena.

The public may watch the skating clinic.
