Vocational students compete in state meet

Graphic communications and motorcycle service technology were among the dozens of categories drawing students from Maine high schools and colleges in a recent Maine SkillsUSA-VICA competition.

SkillsUSA is a national organization serving 250,000 high school and college students in technical, skilled and service occupations and training. VICA is the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America Inc., which was founded in 1965.

Top competitors advance to a national competition later this year.
