Benefit supper to aid students hurt in crash

OLD TOWN – A benefit spaghetti supper and dance will be held tonight at the Old Town Elks Club for Old Town High School seniors Nathan Gates and Sean Kinch, who were seriously injured when the car they were in was hit by a tractor-trailer. The supper will be from 4 to 6 p.m. and the dance from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. A cash bar will be available.

Items including whale-watch tickets, a CAT gambling cruise from Bar Harbor to Canada, and a signed copy of Stephen King’s book “The Green Mile” will be raffled off throughout the evening. A prom package, including two prom tickets, prom pictures, tux and dress rental, men’s haircut, women’s hair, makeup and nail care, tanning, dinner for two and flowers also will be raffled off at Old Town High School.

Benefit tickets are on sale at Tim’s Store and Martin’s Store in Old Town. To volunteer, call Evelyn Niles at 827-4614.
