The second round follows at 1 p.m. with the quarterfinals on Sunday at 11 a.m.
Top-seeded Judy Bowden, No. 2 Karen Matero, No. 3 Casey Murray, and No. 4 Kelly Ames received byes into the quarterfinal rounds.
