Outlook: The Black Bears are looking to get in some midweek non-league games against Brown. UMaine has never beaten the Bears, though they haven’t met in 34 years. UMaine’s untested younger pitchers will likely get some important mound duty while the hitters try to get their respective strokes going in preparation for a critical weekend America East series against Northeastern.
