University of Maine men’s ice hockey junior forward Colin Shields scored a goal Tuesday in Great Britain’s 4-2 loss to Italy in Zagreb, Croatia.

Shields, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, scored at 16:54 of the second period. Great Britain is now 0-1-1 and next plays Estonia on Thursday.
