Shields tied for lead at IIHF Championships

ZAGREB, Croatia – University of Maine right winger Colin Shields finished tied for the tournament lead in goals with four at the IIHF World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia. Great Britain finished fifth in the tournament with a 1-3-1 record following Sunday’s 3-2 loss to Norway.

ZAGREB, Croatia – University of Maine right winger Colin Shields finished tied for the tournament lead in goals with four at the IIHF World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.

Great Britain finished fifth in the tournament with a 1-3-1 record following Sunday’s 3-2 loss to Norway.

Shields, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, has 43 goals and 30 assists in 76 career games at Maine, including 14 goals and 13 assists in 34 games this past season.
