ROCKLAND – Police have arrested five members of a local family, including a 12-year-old, for allegedly harassing and terrorizing their neighbors.
Deputy Police Chief Wallace Tower said Thursday that three people – the mother, father and a 14-year-old son – were arrested after officers witnessed rowdy conduct Wednesday night at the home at 38 State St.
Albert Fogg, 39, Irma Fogg, 36, and their 14-year-old were accused of setting out on a course of conduct that included an evening of obscene gestures to neighbors, offensive display of parts of their anatomy and what police described simply as terrorism.
On Thursday, the Foggs’ 12-year-old son and a 17-year-old son were arrested on warrants, according to Sgt. Lloyd Daniels. They were arrested in connection with Wednesday night’s events, but police did not specify the charges.
After receiving numerous complaints from neighbors, Rockland police staked out the home and watched the home before arresting the family about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The adult Foggs and the 14-year-old were charged with terrorizing and disorderly conduct, Tower said.
According to a Knox County Jail officer, Irma Fogg was released on $500 bail and Albert Fogg was still being held late Thursday.
The cases involving the children are being handled by a juvenile intake officer.
