Outlook: Weather-permitting, the Bears might have an opportunity to significantly improve their postseason prospects. UMaine has won four in a row after dropping three straight. The Bearcats have lost four in a row and 13 of 14. Binghamton came into the week with a .245 batting average and an 8.62 team earned run average, both of which rank last in the league. UMaine’s 3.94 ERA ranks second in AE and its .288 BA is fourth. The Bears rank sixth in the nation with a .976 fielding percentage.
