BANGOR – The Husson softball team picked up two wins over Fisher of Boston, taking the first game 18-3 and the second 8-1. The second game was stopped after five innings due to darkness.
In the first game, Sara Agouab cranked a grand slam, a two-run homer and a double, with eight RBIs. Leslie Freese knocked three singles.
Megan Murphy had three singles and Cynthia Shine had two for Fisher.
In the second game, Jodi Reynolds singled, doubled and plated two runs for Husson and Kelly McHatten added a double. Nicole Duplisea fired a one-hitter with two strikeouts.
Shine singled for Fisher’s lone hit.

At Farmington, Jessica Wenckus pitched a complete-game one hitter in the University of Maine-Farmington’s second game 8-0 win.
In the first game, Cynthia Ravinski hit a pair of singles and knocked in four runs for UM-Farmington. Rachel Larlee tripled and had two singles.
Amelie Cox doubled for the University of Maine-Presque Isle.
In the second game, Dorcie Reitchel hit a bases-loaded triple in the third inning for UM-Farmington. Andrea Benvenuti doubled and singled.

At Biddeford, Erin Larrivee gave up only four hits, no runs, three walks, and struck out seven in Salve Regina’s 8-0 win in the first game.

Thomas, Lyndon State split
At Waterville, Travis Casey’s two-run single keyed a six-run sixth inning that led Lyndon State to a 10-3 nightcap win. Thomas took the opener 7-4.
In the second game, Casey also had a double; Tom Nutting doubled twice and had an RBI and Jared Marsh doubled and singled.
Scott Brawn and Jordan McDonald doubled for Thomas.
In the opener, brothers Scott and Sean Brawn hit back-to-back homers in the third inning with Scott’s being a three-run blast.
Aaron Bonenfant had three singles. Sean Brawn also had an RBI fielder’s choice. Ryan Rulman struck out seven with no walks for the win.
Jeremy Lawrence’s three hits and RBI led Lyndon State.
