SEBEC – Residents will be asked next week to allow selectmen to co-sign with the Sebec Volunteer Fire Department for a loan of up to $90,000 for the purchase of a new firetruck.

This article and two others will need voter attention at a special town meeting at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, in the Harland Ladd Municipal Building.

Selectmen also are asking that residents vote to appropriate $5,000 to pay for solid waste, recycling and demolition debris costs, and to raise $2,500 for general government expenses. Both of these amounts are proposed to be taken from undesignated surplus.
