BANGOR – Aaron Wilson singled in D.J. McCleary with the bases full and two outs in the seventh to give the Bangor Christian Patriots a 7-6 baseball victory over Central of Corinth here Friday.

Willie Hinckley and Ben Sobey each singled and drove in a pair for the winners. Chase Ossinger and Micah Dougherty added two singles each.

Joey Kane singled, doubled and knocked in two runs to lead the Red Devils of Corinth. Colby Brown smacked an RBI double.

At East Sullivan, Nick Dakin hit two singles and knocked in three runs to help Searsport win their first game of the season.

Dean Mercier singled twice and scored two runs for Searsport.

Jay Huber singled for Sumner and Trevor Renwick scored their run on a pass ball in the second inning.

Arswhini Asges rapped a double, single and plated three runs for the Trojans. David Muse and Alex Muffuci had a single each.

At Pittsfield, Brandon Drapeau’s RBI single in the seventh plated Mike Buckley for the winning run as the Black Bears edged the Huskies.

Buckley reached on a triple, his third hit to go with a double and a single and one RBI. Drapeau also doubled for Maranacook of Readfield. Eben Gilman singled twice.

Andrew Depethune and Jeremy West of Maine Central Institute each hit a double and a single for two RBIs. Jake Lasselle tripled and Ryan Kennedy added two singles and an RBI.

Darin Spack smacked a two-run homer to lead the Pirates of Guilford. Joe Jardine contributed an RBI single.

At Bangor, Kelly White allowed six hits and seven walks while striking out eight batters to help pace Bangor past Nokomis of Newport.

Heidi Baker had a single and a two-run triple for the Rams. Megan McCrum had two singles and an RBI, Jamie Kowalski had a two-run single, and Kate Turner hit an RBI single.

Danielle Clark singled twice for the Warriors while Tia Beauregard added a two-run single.

Janay Tucker led the Tigers with two singles and two RBIs. Jessie Daley chipped in with two singles and an RBI.

At Mount Desert, Nia Megquier pitched a one-hitter and struck out nine to pace the Mount Desert Island Trojans past the Ponies.

Emma Stanley had four singles and a double to pace the MDI attack. Abbie Chapman had four singles; Jaime Daugherty had a triple, double, single, and RBI; and Jennifer Wright had a double, two singles, and one RBI.

Jennie Walker broke up Megquier’s no-hit bid with a single in the fourth.

Kara Hartman went the distance for the Patriots, striking out 14 and hitting two singles and driving in a run. Laura Hamm notched a two-run double, and Amber Leathers singled three times, scored two runs and drove in two more.

Sara Livingston scored for Washington Academy on East Machias on a walk, a steal of second base, a Sara Bushforth sacrifice bunt and a wild pitch.
