BANGOR – Police detectives were expected today to release more details about a Saturday night stabbing.
A male, who was bleeding profusely, was found near Cedar and Sanford streets by police about 7:10 p.m., Sgt. Bob Bishop said Sunday. He described the man’s wounds as serious, but said he had been treated and then released from Eastern Maine Medical Center.
Police refused to release the man’s name, age or any other details about the incident.
Bishop said detectives were conducting interviews and investigating the stabbing Sunday, but wouldn’t release more details until they could discuss the case with Penobscot County District Attorney Christopher Almy.
