OLD TOWN – Zac Bouzan-Kaloustian doubled and singled in addition to making two diving catches for outs at second base Tuesday to help Brewer pull out a 3-2 schoolboy baseball victory over Old Town.
Kevin Kotredes’ two-run single to right-center in the sixth inning plated the tying and winning runs for the Witches. Andrew Patterson pitched a four-hitter for Brewer.
Brad Goody and Mike Russell each had two singles for Old Town behind Brown, who scattered five hits..

At Ellsworth, Seth Mayo gave up only one run on six hits and three walks while striking out three to give Ellsworth the win.
Mayo doubled and singled with two RBIs for Ellsworth and Garrett Hardison hit two singles with an RBI.
Dusty Thomas had two singles for Orono, and Ryan Levesque hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning.

At Hampden, sophomore Chris Pease allowed only one run on one hit and five walks while striking out 10 to keep Hampden in front of John Bapst of Bangor.
Ian Lee hit the game-winning RBI single in the fourth inning for Hampden. Kyle Dalton and Pat McCabe each had a RBI single.
Sean Snider singled for John Bapst’s only hit.

At Greenville, Chris O’Brien scored the winning run in the top of the seventh when he was hit by a pitch, advanced to second on a groundout, and came home on a Pat Fitzmaurice single as the Bobcats edged the Lakers.
Steven Brown led Richmond with a two-run double and a triple. Fitzmaurice added another single.
Griz Aucoin sparked Greenville with a three-run homer and a single. Danny Campbell drove in two runs on two singles and Anthony Lavigne singled twice.

The Broncos scored all of their runs in the first inning led by Amy Ryder’s single and two RBIs, Kristin Littlefield’s RBI double, and Ashlea Ireland’s RBI single. Littlefield struck out seven during her six-plus innings on the mound.
