BANGOR – Police continue to investigate the Saturday night stabbing of a 21-year-old Bangor man.
Lewis Linker was stabbed with a knife at 12 Sanford St. around 7 p.m., according to Lt. Tim Reid of the Bangor Police Department.
Linker was found bleeding profusely at the corner of Sanford and Cedar streets and taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center, according to police. He was released from the hospital Sunday afternoon.
The dispute that led to the stabbing appeared to be over money, Reid said Tuesday. He described witnesses in the case as cooperative.
