Newburgh’s Ricky Craven has been named the First Quarter NASCAR USG Person of the Year.

The Winston Cup driver helped raise nearly $200,000 for numerous charities in his sixth annual Ricky Craven Snowmobile Ride for Charity on Jan. 25.

USG is the official building supplier of NASCAR and is the first year of sponsoring the program. The award honors drivers, not only for their accomplishments on the track, but for their community service contributions and charitable efforts.
