MADAWASKA – Natasha Ritchie pitched a three-hitter in seven innings and Aimee Guy recorded a one-hitter in five innings to lead the Houlton softball team to 9-3 and 28-0 wins over Madawaska Monday in a high school doubleheader.
Ritchie struck out 15 and was backed by Guy, who singled, doubled and had three RBIs. Anna Lenentine added a two-run triple.
Andrea K. Cyr and Danielle Daigle each had RBI singles for the Owls.
Guy struck out three in the second game and gave up a first-inning double to Daigle.
Anna Lenentine paced Houlton with a triple, double, single and three RBIs and Alyssa Foster added two doubles, three singles and two RBIs. Valerie Lenentine contributed a double, three singles and RBI.

At Limestone, Nikki Michaud hit a double and three singles and knocked in four runs to help Limestone passed Southern Aroostook.
Rebecca Barter hit a double and a single with a RBI for the Eagles and Ashley Brooker had a pair of singles with a RBI.
Amanda Clark and Brandi Crandall each had two singles with two RBIs for the Warriors.

Amanda Fitzpatrick hit a two-run home run in the first and singled for the Hawks. Tasha Dwyer added two singles and an RBI.
Stevi Fletcher and Alicia Rideout each had two singles and an RBI for Central Aroostook of Mars Hill. Andi Long singled twice.

At Sherman Station, Pam Spooner drove in five runs with a double and three singles and also earned the win by scattering eight hits and striking out nine.
Amber Smith also chipped in with five RBIs on three doubles and two singles and Pam Bennett drove in four runs on three singles. Ashlee Peters added two doubles and a single.
Lindsay Albert and Krystle McMoarn each singled and doubled for Katahdin with Albert driving in two runs. Brandi Violette also had two RBIs and two singles.

At Corinth, Megan Jones hit a three-run homerun in the fourth inning to push Central passed Searsport.
Jones also hit a pair of singles with five total RBIs for the Red Devils. Shawna Bell tripled and doubled with three RBIs and Renee Trafton had two singles with three RBIs.
Sheila Wilber hit a RBI triple for Searsport. Theresa Cameron doubled and Abby Tripp hit a RBI single.

Jamie Doliber had three singles and two RBIs while Chrissy Driscoll had three singles and one RBI for Calais. Jessica Whitaker picked up the win in relief.
For Jonesport-Beals, Jody Pinkham had a double, two singles, and three RBIs. Monique Emerson had three singles and three RBIs. Sarah Beal added three singles.
