Peter S. Johnson has joined Bangor Savings Bank as commercial workout officer in the special assets group at the State Street branch in Bangor. Johnson has several years of experience in the banking industry, including as vice president, commercial loan workout, with Shawmut Bank, workout officer with First National Bank of Bar Harbor, and workout officer with Union Trust Co. Before entering the banking industry, Johnson had a private law practice in Massachusetts. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Windham College in Putney, Vt., and a law degree from Suffolk Law School in Boston.
Sherry Roberts of Enfield has been promoted from branch assistant to branch manager at the Bangor Savings Bank in Howland. Roberts has 12 years of experience in the banking industry and has served in various positions, including as teller and customer service representative.
Rick Maltz of Hampden, director of audit-regulatory services at Bangor Savings Bank, has been promoted to senior vice president, chief operations officer, at the Technology Center in Bangor. Maltz has more than 20 years of experience in business, including 17 years in the banking industry in which he worked at Nations Bank, Maryland National Bank and the Bank of New York. Maltz’s primary experience has been in operations, audit, loan administration and cash management. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of New Haven and is a certified public accountant.
Douglas Sensenig of Lincolnville has joined Union Trust Co.’s investment and trust department as an administrative trust officer in the bank’s Camden Financial Services office. His primary focus will be personal trust and investment management accounts. An honor graduate of Bates College, Sensenig received his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law. He was an associate with Eaton Peabody in Bangor where his practice focused on estate planning and real estate matters. He then worked for nine years in the sales and development of financial service-related products and programs in Salt Lake City. Most recently, he served as an investment representative for Edward Jones Investments in Rockport.
