BANGOR – Ryan Brown tossed a three-hitter and Kyle Dupuis’ fourth inning single drove in the only run of the game Wednesday night as the Old Town baseball team edged Bangor 1-0 at Mansfield Complex.

Dupuis single drove in Joe Guerrett who had singled and stole second. Brown struck out seven and walked two.

Nick Larochelle, Josh Young and P.J. Dowe had singles for Bangor. Josh Heath allowed just five hits while striking out seven and walking one.

At Eastport, Shawn McLean scored Russ McLean with a two-out single in the seventh to get Calais by host Shead.

McLean doubled and singled for the Blue Devils.

Ben Mahoney hit a double and two singles while Darren Constant delivered an RBI single for the Tigers.

At Woodland, Todd Stevens pitched a two-run, two-hit game in addition to a single and an RBI to help lead Machias to the win.

Ed St. Pierre hit two singles, one for three RBIs while Marcus Frutchey added an RBI single.

Darren Ripley had an RBI single for Woodland while Justin McCoubrey chipped in with a single.

At Mount Desert, John Dow fired a no-hitter, striking out eight and walking just one as the Trojans rolled.

Dow also singled, doubled and knocked in two runs for MDI. Jake Willis laced a two-run double, Matt Grover singled twice and drove in four runs while Justin Grover added a double, single and three RBIs.

At Husson College in Bangor, Keith Nason fired a no-hitter with seven strikeouts and two walks as the Crusaders prevailed.

At Deer Isle, Jay Huber scored on an error in the sixth to give the Tigers the winning edge.

Lance Scully plated A.J. Pinette with a two-out single in the seventh to close the door for Sumner of East Sullivan. Kyle Joy keyed a five-run fifth inning with an RBI single.

Joe Trundy slammed a seventh-inning solo homer for the Mariners. Nick Ciomei and Chris Gray each singled twice and drove in a run.

Kenton Spaulding rapped a solo homer to go with a single for the Mustangs of Thorndike. Clifford Gardner, Aaron Lewis and Matt Surrow added two singles each.

At Brewer, the Witches scored what would be the game-winning run in the bottom of the fifth inning on a throwing error.

Carolyn McAvoy headed up the Brewer offense with an RBI single and a triple while Jamie Gomm chipped in with an RBI single.

Ashlea Ireland hit two singles for the Hampden cause while Evon Hudspeth helped out with a double.

Meghan Ruhlin led the Sumner effort with a double, two singles and three RBIs while Jessie Daley hit three singles and a solo home run. Rachel Robinson helped out with three singles, a triple and an RBI.
