AUGUSTA – A rally in support of deployed troops will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Capitol Park in Augusta. The rally, called Operation Yellow Ribbon, will include speakers, a peaceful march around the capitol area and an evening candle lighting ceremony. The rain location will be the Maine National Guard Armory. Those attending are asked to bring candles, banners and peaceful signs to carry. For more information, call Nicole Walton at 582-9425.
