Aside from the fact that Saddam Hussein is no longer in power, I cannot think of anything positive in regard to Iraq. Museums and libraries have been looted and burned, in spite of the fact that victorious military forces are required under international agreements dating back to 1907 to protect cultural and religious institutions.
No weapons of mass destruction have been found and the daily lives of the Iraqi people have been seriously compromised. At the same time, at home various decisions and policies of the Bush administration are having a devastating effect on the quality of life for Americans.
Is it not time for a regime change?
