ORONO – Marty Kariya, Frank Doyle of the UMaine hockey team and swimmer Jacob Jentzer have been named to the Verizon University Division I Academic All-District At-Large team.

Kariya boasts a 3.79 GPA in mathematics, while Doyle also maintains a 3.79, in business. Jentzer holds a 4.0 GPA with a double-major in biochemistry and pyschology. They will be placed on the Academic All-America ballot.
