SACO – Charles Boothby of Bangor and Kent Price of Orland have been chosen president and vice president respectively of the Northeast District of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations.

They were selected earlier this month during the district’s annual meeting at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Saco-Biddeford.

The Northeast District consists of 28 congregations in Maine with a total membership of about 2,800.

Boothby is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor.

Price is a former chair of the governing committee of the Castine Unitarian Church.
