PRESQUE ISLE – Parents of Presque Isle High School students are encouraged to attend a viewing of the video “Your Teen and Alcohol – Do you Really Know?” at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, in the PIHS auditorium.

A panel of school and law enforcement officials also will discuss the latest and most effective strategies to keep teens away from alcohol.

Holly Johnson, SAD 1 school health coordinator, will distribute information about the Maine Office of Substance Abuse’s new kit for parents. The free kit includes practical tips, useful facts and valuable statewide resources to help parents monitor and prevent teen alcohol use.

For more information, call SAD 1 Volunteer and Information Services at 764-7722.
