BANGOR – Anthony Cole’s two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning keyed Bangor Christian’s come from behind, 5-4 win in the first game while Searsport’s Matt Nickerson tossed a three-hitter as the Vikings split the baseball doubleheader with a 12-0 win in the second game Saturday.
In the first game, Cole’s double tied the game and then he ended it by scoring on a wild pitch.
D.J. McCleary had a double and a single and David Chrisos singled twice, drove in a run and allowed just five hits for Bangor Christian.
Dan Rainey singled twice for Searsport.
In the second game, Nickerson slammed a two-run double in a six-run first inning as the Vikings took control off the game.
Spencer Garton tripled, singled and drove in two runs while Joe Brazier had a pair of singles for the Vikings.
Chase Ossinger had a double for the Patritos.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Friday, brothers Ben and Derek Maloney combined to pitch a no-hitter with five strikeouts and three innings of pitching apiece.
James MacDonald helped lead the offense with two singles and three RBIs while Josh Francis had a single, a double and two RBIs. Derek Maloney added two doubles.
Chad Pike pitched a complete game for Woodland.

At Orono, Bill Burt hit a double and two singles and scored two runs to help power Hermon to the win.
Dustin Jalbert had three singles for the Hawks while Nate Ellis and Matt Joy added two singles apiece.
Jeff Miller, Dusty Thomas and Travis Bryant each hit two singles for the Orono effort.

At Limestone, Nikki Michaud led the host Eagles to victory by pitching a one-hitter while striking out 12 batters and walking five.
Emily O’Neal had three singles and three RBIs for Limestone while Vicki Mulherin added two doubles -and an RBI.
Jamie Abar broke up Michaud’s no-hit bid in the sixth with an RBI double.

Bucksport sweeps Caribou
At Caribou, Bucksport took two games from Caribou, winning the first game 16-0 and with a score of 18-1 in the second.
In the first game, Nikki Smith pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out nine batters and walking only one to help give Bucksport the win.
Alyssa Gordon had a triple, a double and a single for two RBIs while Brittany Damon added three singles.
Brianna Jenkins hit a single and a double for the Caribou effort.
In the second game, Jessica Taylor had three singles for three RBIs for Bucksport.
Tara Tweedie added two singles and two RBIs while Alice Andrews had a double and a single. Ashley McAllian helped out with two singles.
Makayla Gahagan led the Caribou offense with two singles and a run.

Hampden splits with Nokomis
At Hampden, Saturday, Hampden won the first game of a doubleheader with Nokomis 3-2 and lost the second 8-1.
In the first game, Erika Veinote had an RBI in the bottom of the seventh to send home the game-winner while Cheryl Morris added a single, a double and an RBI. Elizabeth Kiser chipped in with two singles.
Joyce Holland had an RBI single for the Nokomis effort.
In the second game, Aimee Paradis and Tia Beauregard each had two singles and an RBI to lead Nokomis to the win. Alyssa Bragdon and Joyce Holland added two singles apiece.
Ashley Ireland led the Hampden offense with a double and a single for an RBI while Morris and Kiser each hit two singles.
