Speaking as one of those Native Americans who was mentioned in Ike Morgan’s op-ed piece (BDN, May 1), I was appalled and fearful that someone who holds such hostile and intolerant “groupthink” thoughts would be allowed to teach within a school system. His rant exposes him for what he is, an angry and fearful man who is anti-anything and anti-everything that is not WASP-ish.
Certainly those civil rights teams presently operating within schools have their work cut out for them with such angry and narrow-minded teachers teaching within those “hallowed walls of yearning.”
