CORINTH – Honor parts for Central High School have been announced by Principal Raymond Bussiere. Commencement will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at the Central High School gymnasium.
Caitlin Kekacs, daughter of Cindy Kekacs of Bradford and Andrew Kekacs of Hallowell, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2003. She will attend Amherst College in Massachusetts to study English.
She is a National Honor Society member, and served as its president. She was class secretary for four years, a peer coach for Special Olympics, participated in Project Adventure, played soccer, softball and was a cheerleader. She was selected for the Maine Principals’ Association Principal’s Award and was a student volunteer for two years at Eastern Maine Medical Center.
Stacy Goodridge, daughter of Curtis and Brenda Goodridge of Hudson, has been named salutatorian for the Class of 2003. She will attend the University of Maine in Orono to study nursing.
She is a member of the National Honor Society. She was on the math team, a peer mediator, and served on the District Community Chemical Health Team for four years. She served as class vice president, was on the Prom Committee, is active in Project Adventure and plays in the Pep Band. She earned her varsity letter in soccer. She attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership seminar and was a student volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor.
