NORTH ANSON – Principal James Weggler has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2003 at Carrabec High School. Graduation will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, in the Carrabec High School Gymnasium.

Matthew P. Dube, son of Roxanne and Jean-Paul Dube of Solon, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2003. He will attend the University of Maine in Orono.

He has been on the high honor roll for each ranking period, with a grade point average of 98 for his four years at Carrabec High School. As a junior, he received a perfect score of 800 on the math portion of the SATs. He has been recognized in academics, athletics and extracurricular activities.

Megan K. Carbone, daughter of Nancy and Andrew Carbone formerly of North Anson now living in Madison, has been named salutatorian for the Class of 2003. She will attend Northeastern University in Massachusetts. She has been recognized for her outstanding athletic abilities along with her leadership qualities. She has been on the high honor roll each ranking period, with a grade point average of 97.6.
