Al Butler has been promoted to vice president at First Citizens Bank in Presque Isle. Butler has been with the bank since 1996 as a commercial banking officer and was made assistant vice president in 1999. First Citizens Bank also promoted Karen Rossignol to assistant vice president at the Presque Isle office. She joined the bank as an assistant branch manager in Caribou in 1991. She has served as a personal banking officer and branch manager. Rossignol has an associate’s degree in business administration. Mark Kelley has been transferred to the Houlton office of First Citizens Bank. He joined the bank as a management associate in 2001. He will be responsible for the daily operation and management of the Houlton office.

Debra Taylor of Old Town has been promoted to manager of human resources at Georgia Pacific’s Old Town mill. Taylor joined the mill in 1983 and was made human resources coordinator in 1992. She has been the acting human resources manager since January.

Wendell “Tim” Smart has been promoted to vice president of Webber Supply Inc., which has locations in Bangor and South Portland. Smart started at Webber Supply in 1967 in the shipping and receiving area. His most recent position was operations manager in Bangor. Webber Supply also has promoted James Sullivan to vice president of operations. Sullivan began at Webber in 1972 as a transport driver and most recently served as manager of maintenance, construction and bulk plants.

Scott Colabuono of Smithfield has been named chief operating officer of Pride/Softspikes and will work out of the company’s Guilford headquarters. Colabuono, who joined Pride in 2002 as chief financial officer, will continue in this capacity while assuming the responsibilities of COO. He has more than 30 years’ experience in finance and operations and will help direct a business operation that employees nearly 600 people at seven facilities throughout the United States and England.

Maine Coast Memorial Hospital’s Rehabilitation Department has promoted Beth Wagstaff to clinical supervisor of occupational therapy. Wagstaff received a degree in occupational therapy from the University of New England. She has eight years of experience and has been at Maine Coast in Ellsworth for a year.
