Lumberjacks vs. Spirit tonight

The Bangor Lumberjacks hope to return to action tonight when they visit Lynn, Mass., to take on the North Shore Spirit. The Lumberjacks opened last Thursday with a win in Allentown, Pa., but their next four games have been postponed by rain.

After Wednesday and Thursday games against the Spirit, the Lumberjacks return to Maine for their home opener Friday at 7:15 p.m. against the New Jersey Jackals at Mahaney Diamond in Orono.

The Lumberjacks play a three-game series against the Jackals and another three-game set against the Elmira (N.Y.) Pioneers before returning to the road for six games.
