Timothy C. Woodcock of Bangor has joined the law firm of Eaton Peabody. Woodcock worked on the personal and committee staffs of Sen. William S. Cohen in Washington, D.C., for more than five years, serving as a committee staff director and later as an associate counsel on the Senate Iran-Contra Committee. He served for nearly four years as an assistant U.S. attorney for the district of Maine, and served on the Bangor City Council from 1995 to 1998, including a term as mayor. He is currently the project director for the William S. Cohen Center for International Policy and Commerce at the University of Maine and will continue in that position on a part-time basis. He expects to focus his energies at Eaton Peabody on international trade and economic development matters, as well as continuing his civil litigation practice. Woodcock has nearly 20 years experience as a civil litigation attorney, including personal injury, governmental entity defense and workers’ compensation defense.
