COLUMBIA FALLS – The Ruggles House Society has received a $1,441 grant to preserve and provide better access to its historical collections.

The Ruggles House Society is a nonprofit organization that maintains and supports the Ruggles House museum.

The grant was funded by the New Century Community Program and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.

Funded by Maine residents, the New Century Community Program assists Maine communities with preserving cultural and educational records.

Guided tours are 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sundays, June 1 through Oct. 15. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
