Bush to visit parents in Kennebunkport

KENNEBUNKPORT – President Bush will be coming to Maine next week for the first time this year.

The president will travel to Connecticut on Thursday to pitch a new prescription drug plan before heading to his parents’ home in Kennebunkport, where he’ll be spending the weekend.

The president was a familiar face last year, visiting Kennebunkport three times. The last visit was in October, when he used the family home as a base for campaigning for New England Republicans.

There’s no schedule of events for next week’s trip. Usually, the president likes to go golfing and fishing with his father while in Kennebunkport.
