BUCKSPORT – The board of appeals will hold a public hearing to consider a disability variance at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at the town office on Main Street.

Ross Allen Temple’s property is in the Shoreland Resource Protection District. Temple is requesting to increase the size of a bedroom in his home in order to improve accessibility.

The room increase would be by 402 square feet. His home exceeds the maximum allowable floor area in the protection district, at 1,500 square feet.
