CAPE ELIZABETH – With the registration closing within a few days, fewer than 300 slots remain for the sixth annual Peoples Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race on Aug. 2.

The limit for this year’s race is 5,000 runners. As of Thursday, 4,700 runners had registered with an average of 50 new registrations per day.
