I write this letter to anyone who is concerned about cruelty to animals, but more directly to the Humane Society for allowing a new method of putting sick animals to rest. It is a heart injection method.

Recently, I had to have my little dog put to sleep. This method was used, and had I known the reactions to it, it would not have been done this way.

Before she died, my dog had a terrified look on her face and she cried out in pain. This has haunted me since that moment and I am angry about it. She would have had a much quicker and easier death had I shot her, but that is illegal. This method should be investigated and made illegal. It is cruel and inhumane and should be stopped at once.

Maybe if the right people read this it will be stopped, and hundreds of other little animals will not have to suffer pain in order to leave this world.
