EASTON – Principal Donna Lisnik of Easton Junior-Senior High School has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2003. Graduation was held on Friday, June 6.

Krystyna Pytlak, daughter of Nancy and Frank Pytlak of Presque Isle, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2003. She will attend the University of Maine in Orono.

She has played varsity soccer and varsity basketball. She was a member of chorus and jazz choir and was selected All-Aroostook. She was a member of the math team, French club, and president of the National Honor Society. She was a junior exhibition speaker and in the cast of the senior play and the one-act play, and the productions of the Easton Theatre Company. She received the Maine Principals’ Association Award and accrued more than 350 community service hours during her four years of high school.

Chad Richardson, son of Esther and Keith Richardson of Easton, has been named salutatorian for the Class of 2003. He will attend Eastern Nazarene College in Massachusetts to study pharmacy.

He was active in band and chorus, and was selected for All-Aroostook and All-State chorus. He was active in the productions by the Easton Theatre Company, a junior exhibition speaker, and a member of the cast for the senior play and the one-act play. He was a member of the French club and vice president of the National Honor Society.

He accrued more than 400 hours of community service during his four years of high school.
