While reading the paper recently I have seen a lot about the fingerprinting of teachers. I cannot see why anyone would object to it unless there is something to hide which should be covered by the privacy acts anyway.
I had a government job as postmaster for 24 years and before I could be hired I had to be fingerprinted. No big deal.
Is the mail more important than our children?
