BREWER – The Eastern Maine Class A softball championship between No. 2 Brewer and No. 1 Leavitt was rescheduled for today at Coffin Field at 6 p.m.
With stormy skies looming Wednesday, Maine Principals’ Association officials decided not to play the game last night, which also prevented Leavitt’s approximate two-hour trip from Turner.
Leavitt is 18-0 and Brewer is 15-3. The winner advances to Saturday’s state final in Brewer at 11 a.m.
