Joe Jabar of Waterville is among 11 former players, coaches and officials who will be inducted into the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame next fall. The ceremony is scheduled for Nov. 8 at the Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, Mass.

Jabar, who pitched at Colby College in Waterville, pitched three seasons in the Cape League, compiling a 21-4 record with the Yarmouth Indians, then the Chatham A’s. He won 15 straight games over three seasons, a league record that still stands. Jabar later signed a contract with the Seattle Pilots, now the Milwaukee Brewers.
