QUEBEC CITY, Quebec – The Bangor Lumberjacks ended their road trip in style Thursday night, sweeping a Northeast League doubleheader from the Quebec City Capitales.
Bangor won the first game 4-3, then eked out a 3-2 victory in the nine-inning nightcap.
The Lumberjacks (6-10) return home for a 7:15 p.m. game today against the division-leading Brockton Rox.
In the first game, Donnie Ross hit a two-out, two-run home run in the fifth inning to give the ‘Jacks the eventual margin of victory.
